Liangting River Bridge is located in National Road G244, Shaanxi Province. The length of bridge is 57.08 meters, and the width of bridge deck is 13meters. The superstructure is 4-span 13m prestressed concrete hollow slab with continuous bridge deck. The pier adopts single row column piers with 3 piles horizontally. Bored piles with a diameter of 120 cm are used for the foundation, The superstructure of the bridge consists of 12 prestressed concrete hollow slabs. The bridge deck pavement is constructed with 9cm asphalt concrete, type ATR-1 waterproof layer, and 10cm C40 concrete. The 0.5meters of rigid anti-collision railings are set on both sides of the bridge. Two panel type approach slabs and plain concrete embedded slabs are set at the both sides of the bridge head, with a length of 3meters.The bridge is equipped with two abutments and 6cm width expansion joints are reserved at the abutments. The bridge is an extended deck slab bridge, the expansion joint between the main beam and the abutment is reserved, but the expansion joint at the bridge deck is canceled, and the deformation of the main beam caused by temperature change is introduced to the approach slabs and approach pavements. Therefore, it can improve driving comfort, reduce vehicle jumping, and be beneficial to driving safety.
The Liangting River Bridge was constructed by Baoji Highway Administration and designed by Xi'an Highway Research Institute. The School of Civil Engineering of Fuzhou University is responsible for the scientific research project with the bridge as the background, and has guided the design of the bridge and carried out research on the bridge structure. The bridge was completed and opened to traffic inJuly 2018.
