This bridge, an access overpass located at chainage K27+787, stands as a exemplar of green highway and quality engineering. It successfully employs China's first innovative "Green and Low-Carbon, Small-Spacing Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil (GRS) Retaining Wall + Vertical Load-Bearing Structure with Life-Cycle-Extended Bridge Deck Panel Combined Seamless Abutment" technology. Through this innovative design, the originally planned three-span, 90-meter bridge was optimized into a single 40-meter span. This eliminated the traditional ribbed abutments and approach embankment slopes, significantly saving land use. Furthermore, it reduced construction costs by over 30% and achieves a reduction in life-cycle carbon emissions exceeding 40%. The structure realizes a completely seamless bridge approach, effectively eliminating the problem of vehicle bump at the bridge ends. It also possesses excellent seismic performance (capable of withstanding 0.6g acceleration), thereby greatly enhancing traffic safety, riding comfort, and project durability. This bridge represents an advanced direction in low-carbon, seamless bridge construction.
