We are pleased to announce that The Journal of Highway and Transportation Research and Development (English Edition) (HTRD, ISSN 2095-6215) will collaborate with the International Association of Jointless Bridges (IAJB) to publish a Special Issue on “Jointless and Sustainable Bridges” during the Fourth International Symposium on Jointless and Sustainable Bridges (ISJSB 2026).
HTRD is an international peer-reviewed journal that has long focused on the latest developments in highways, transportation, and bridge engineering. This special issue aims to showcase cutting-edge research outcomes and engineering practices in jointless and sustainable bridge technologies, with emphasis on structural durability, maintenance reduction, green design, and intelligent construction.
We sincerely invite scholars and professionals worldwide to submit their contributions. High-quality papers will be published in the special issue in August 2026.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
1. Review of research and application of jointless bridge;
2. Soil-structural interaction in integral abutment bridge;
3. Seismic response and rehabilitation of jointless bridge;
4. Design and calculation theory of jointless bridge;
5. Jontless retrofitting of existing joint bridges;
